It seems I'm pretty much the only person here that has enjoyed all of their music they've released. Count Your Blessings is still great, Suicide Season is incredible, There Is A Hell is like an extended version of Suicide Season (to me at least) and Sempiternal is probably my favourite album of all time (if you're mad, deal with it) and Drown is fantastic.

For the people who are mad that Bring Me The Horizon aren't as hard as they used to be, it's because Oliver had a really bad drug addiction. He even talks about it before hospital for souls. Luckily Oli found help and checked into rehab. Once he was out and clean he swore he would never scream again. So respect Oliver's decision of changing the sound of the band and if you want to listen to something harder, listen to someone else

It really is a shame... Bands grow up and mature, but the fans stay as 14 year old kids who think screaming is cool and don't understand what "sell out" means, therefore they throw it around and think they have an opinion. This is a great song and they really have evolved since "Count Your Blessings". The worst part of any band is the fan base.

I already posted this like 5 times under different videos, but still BMTH and especially this song mean so much to me. They showed me what real music is and how it can transmit a message through the music itself, the vocals or the lyrics, unlike the garbage we mostly find in mainstream charts. It is interesting how a simple but genius song like Drown can change someone's perspective of music so drastically. THX BMTH!

Everytime this song comes on, I don't just listen to it, I feel it. Like the song is pulsing through my veins. His voice has changed and matured so much as a vocalist. I love this side of Oli, he has a great singing voice and you can just feel the emotion in it.

They had to change to adapt to Oliver's issues with his vocal cords, and a bunch of people are trying to make bmth look like the bad people because they didnt want a new Lead Singer. I will always love Bring me the Horizon, old and new music.

For all the people complaining about being tricked into thinking this was a new song, it's not the band's fault. That's why you follow them on social media, they post something about what the video is about like "here's a behind the scenes video we did". They're not trying to trick anyone. Also if they were releasing a new song, you'd know about it in advance because they'd wanna hype it up first. So yeah, basically it's your fault for relying on nothing but a small youtube thumbnail before making an assumption about what the video is. There's information out there, you just have to observe it.

Why are people commenting just to insult how BMTH have changed?!?! The sad thing is that these people call themselves 'true fans' because they have liked them for longer and insist that BMTH's old stuff is better. In my opinion, a true fan is someone who sticks with the band regardless of the changes they make. Oli said it in an interview himself that the old music was not thought through enough and the new stuff is what BMTH are all about. If you prefer the songs in Count your blessings then by all means go listen to it. But just don't think you are better or more 'hardcore' than everyone else because of it.

I too thought this was a new song. But even though it's labeled weird, I love this video. The music sounds REALLY pure right now. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like this video in particular makes it possible to hear EVERY aspect of the song. Love it.

Don't understand why people are complaining about BMTH changing styles. I listened to them way back to "RE:" I still listen to them now. If you are complaining because they don't do "Deathcore" then find another band. If you support the band, and you are not a poser, then continue supporting them like me.

am i the only one who appericates what bmth did? they grew up as a band and now make music for people more their age instead of whining high school suicidal brats. metalcore, screamo, hardcore and pretty much all other bands that fit that similar sound all started to sound the same like 5 years ago. it was like a never ending soundtrack from x amount of bands. it all blurred together. glad they found thier own sound instead of being a sheep.

I used to pride myself on being able to scream like any frontman from BMTH to Chelsea Grin to ADTR. but damn. keep it up BMTH, this is gold. Oli actually has an incredible singing voice. Even if it's not "old BMTH", its amazing for what it is, and the messages are just enlightening and beautiful.

Dear everyone, this is not a music video for drown, it shows how they have developed as a band from playing in small pubs to now huge arenas, hence the name 'back to the future' and drown is just the background music. And for all you who want deathcore and screamo, listen to someone else or Count Your Blessings/ Suicide Season because the reason Oli doesn't scream anymore is because he promised to never scream after he quit drugs from going to rehab and swore he never would again.

The comments are getting annoying. Who cares if a fan hasn't been a fan since the group was made? Stop saying that "Count your Blessings" and "Suicide Season" we're the best, because that's when they were deathcore, and believe it or not, not everybody likes deathcore. I, for one, do. But dissing on this band because they decided to take a change is not cool. And everyone saying things about the stupid 11-14 year olds listening to them, need to stop. Not all the people in that age group are annoying fan girls. I've been listening since 'There is a Hell believe me I've seen it, There is A Heaven let's keep it a secret' was out, and even though I didn't know what they meant by the lyrics at that time, I knew I liked them. I do occasionally listen to 'Count your Blessings' and 'Suicide Silence. But kids go through things to. You guys always say this society is fucked up, and it's affecting the kids. Now that I'm older, I understand the lyrics. I will continue to stick with this band even though it's changed over the years.

Please don't take offence this but a lot of you cannot be fans if you don't know why they're music has changed over time! 1. Oli's throat is fucked, not just from the screaming but all the drugs in the past 2. Oli wants people to see a different side of him, a lot their music is about their history and recovering from bad experiences! Oli wants to do more 'singing' so you can actually get a sense of the pain that not just he's felt in the past, but his closest friends, his family and more important us as the fans (quoted from an awards ceremony). So for those of you that are complaining suck it up cos this is now BMTH, and as I said every album you've heard has been a story of pain and torture! And as for the 'lack of screaming' multiple reasons for that!

And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come to Atlanta in the 2015 warped tour. and like I said ur my ITLE❤and I've never had the chance to go to ur concerts😪😣

Why is everyone insinuating this is a name change for the song? Has it not occurred to you guys that it could simply be the name of the video, showing their latest sold out show at Wembley. Showing it being "back" and then "to the future" suggesting that this is only going to get bigger and better for their music and their careers, and what better way to present that than showing this show. Regardless, the lot of them are great and ngl, I thought it was a new song as well, but I'm sure it won't be long before we actually get a new one.

I think this song epitomizes the complete transformation they've underwent as a band. During the song I thought to myself "Who is this?". I love every album from Count Your Blessing to Sempiternal, and while CYB is definitely my favorite, I still appreciate everything they put out. Unfortunately, I do think they have conformed a little bit to what sells better. But oh well they're still a great band and produce important (to me) music.

I honestly think its a look into the past of the band, and couple cool bits of good footage before a show and practice put to the released single off of their new album. So quit being disappointed.

Funny how this band releases one song that is different to what they usually do and a lot of their so called 'fans' turn against them completely. *Sighs*

This is just my opinion (so don't get your panties in a twist) but it seems like every single band out there (in metalcore) is just going way more mainstream each record they produce, and calling it "growing up" or "maturing". But to me it just seems like they're getting rid of emotion and heaviness. Now I'm not saying they have to be fucking Cannibal Corpse to be heavy or to cry on a track to have emotion but come on. BMTH is just missing all that raw emotion they had in previous records. I was very disappointed in That's the Spirit, even though I found it interesting. I just like the old BMTH better. I have to admit that the songs on That's the Spirit were well written, but its definitely not my style. (I am not trying to start a pointless internet fight, I am simply stating an opinion, and this does not mean I am right.)

all of this complaining cause the guys are doing what musicians do and progress their sound. Its amazing that they are progressing so well in their craft. BMTHOfficialVEVO amazing music, amazing lyrics. And from my personal experience sometimes you want to be known more than just a "screamer". You want to be able to prove to yourself that you can do more musically with your voice.
