As a cancer survivor myself and someone who lost my best friend to cancer (we went through it all together at the same time,same hospital,same room, everything) this song has a much much greater meaning to me now and every time i hear it i just want to cry. she didn’t make it and sometimes i ask myself why it had to be her and not me. The whole performance together with the orchestra and the background chorale group with the beautiful vocals moved me to tears. The symphony and harmony with the screams are just too beautiful.

Maybe it's the same song, but it's not the same feeling. I feel something completely different when I listen to the original and when I listen to this version. The original makes me sad to know its meaning, yes, but this version... I just listen to the beginning, then the song starts and I want to cry. In the end I end up singing the song with a few tears. I love this song too much and I love you so much Bring Me The Horizon❤

My beloved friend just passed away this morning beacause of lung cancer. We were friends for about 13 year since I was 2. He is an old man about 70 to 80 years old. We always joke about selling the other to get a gold bar. When I was younger, I always give him leftover rice so he can feed his chicken. The last time we met was about 2 months ago, he was getting better but after that the situation started to getting worse. I hope anyone who read this dealing with cancer can beat it. Even if you can't fight anymore, you still did something which made me really jealous beacause I can't imagine I can fight against cancer
